Eliot stopped behind his brother, swallowing at the sight of the large man. So that was why Holland was sending him along with this client. He swallowed a whimper, determinedly looking mildly interested. He wondered how long they'd be spending with the doctor when they got back.
He nudged Lindsey subtly. They could make it through this together.
He glanced curiously at the girl. She didn't look like she belonged here. He hoped she wasn't meant to join them there. She wasn't dressed like someone the man wanted to trade away, though. He didn't like this. It all felt... off.
