Sherry was silent as they walked. She had lunch in her pack, having decided Lindsey's sulking had gone on enough. Today she'd show him the good things about his new life. The blond watched him a few minutes.
"Okay really we're far enough from the house no one'll hear you yell if you want to vent Linds." She walked over to a fallen tree, the trunk half her height. "Then, when you're done I'll show you some of the great things about what you are now if you want." She kicked off her shoes, shrugging out of the bag. It had been warm enough for her to just wear a sundress, the pale green of the dress showed it was old, something she kept for full moon days really.
"Or you mad I brought you out here? It's my favorite place you know. And I haven't brought Eliot out here. Thought you'd enjoy it more."

"What I want is for this nightmare to end," Lindsey mumbled though her werewolf hearing shouldn't have any problem picking it out. "This isn't me, none of it's me, and this ruined my life."
He kicked a large stone out of his way and grunted when it disappeared god knows where.

"No, a nightmare would be being bound in silver alloy, having silver injected into your veins, never enough to kill, but for hours, my whole body felt like my blood was acid, eating away at my insides." She hadn't even told Marion that yet.
"They kept me in wolf form so long, I still see like one, only in color, and my hearing is still sharp. Even at this distance between us, I can hear your heart beat Lindsey." She didn't move not wanting to scare him with the admission.
"I want to make sure you don't have to deal with the pain I did, and Marion, she does care about you and Eli, she only wants you safe and happy. I'm sure if there had been a chance to get you to a hospital she would have Lindsey. She doesn't like forcing this on others, none of our pack did." She looked down. "That was one of the laws we lived by, don't change another unless there's no choice." She looked up, blue eyes looking right at him. "Would you have rather died? Left your brother alone?"

He could see it but wanted nothing to do with it. "Well, she changed me. I wouldn't have died. Those men knew what they were doing. I just lost a bit of blood, she exaggerated and I paid the price."
They might be delusions that Lindsey was clutching onto, but he fully believed it, had to believe it, in order to live through what he had. He was full of similar delusions, and he refused to relinquish any of them even though it came out hurting others. As long as it didn't hurt him.

Date: 2013-07-26 10:04 pm (UTC)"Marion wouldn't have risked it if she thought you would live long enough to get to a hospital." She wanted to go deck him, but didn't. Instead she sighed rubbing her arm.
"So really why did those men just leave you in an alley like you're garbage? That part of the sick game they were playing with you and Eliot? Because really, doesn't seem like the actions of people who care." She snagged up a bottle from the basket and jumped over the log, sitting in the grass on the other side, half tempted to run, let him stay a while on his own in the woods just so she can calm down before snapping at him.

Date: 2013-07-29 09:42 pm (UTC)"Holland would've... If I wasn't turned into some monster, he wouldn't have thrown me away!" And that hurt, that hurt so badly, Lindsey turned away so Sherry wouldn't see how he was near tears. Holland was as close to a father figure as the young whore boy ever got, and because of this, the man never wanted to see Lindsey again
He didn't, couldn't, see how this werewolf curse helped him more than it hurt him. In fact, his whole life was turned upside down because of it.
"I hate Marion!"

Date: 2013-07-29 09:59 pm (UTC)"If Holland had cared about you... would they have been allowed to hurt you that badly?" She felt bad about making him upset, but now that he was, she couldn't pass up the opportunity to help him past it.
His outburst about Marion hurt, but she stood calmly going to him. "Then don't stay because of her... Stay because of Eliot... And me. I, I don't have family other than Marion, and now you and your brother for the same reason. Marion asked me to protect the two of you, I do it because I don't want to see either of you hurt like I was." She placed her hand on his shoulder carefully, still trying to judge how to treat this.
"Lindsey, please look at me. Do you see me as a monster? Eliot?" She kept her head down as she spoke, trying to look as submissive as she could hoping that it would put Lindsey at ease. "He's still your flesh and blood, even changed as he is."

Date: 2013-07-30 01:50 am (UTC)"Yes!" he shouted, knowing it for the truth and the honesty hurting both him and her alike. He was a liar, a manipulator, but in this matter he wasn't going to lie.
"We're all monsters! If it wasn't for that... if it wasn't..." He turned away and snarled loudly, having no idea how to even begin controlling that animal that he was now tethered to. Holland had been disgusted when he found out, called him a monster, beast, abomination. Clients have called him that before, worse names even, but never Holland, and never with such utter disgust.
Lindsey backed away.
"I rather have died!"

Date: 2013-07-30 02:04 am (UTC)"So guess if I teach you how to control your wolf you'd still hate me..." She stayed back. "It's easier if you don't fight it, trust me Lindsey, you may hate it, but it's part of you. I've been there okay? Younger than you are now," She didn't want the wolf to rip through him and hurt him. If she could get him to calm down, then maybe they could try to talk. If not she'd have to shift to help him with his wolf.
Good thing she was in a dress she didn't care about. "Would you really have wanted to leave Eliot alone? He's terrified you know. I can smell it on him when he's in wolf form."

Date: 2013-08-09 04:24 am (UTC)"What, he has you to take care of him, doesn't he?" He sneered the words. In a way, Lindsey was angry at Eliot too for his seeming betrayal for liking the monster thing.
"And why should I care for a mutt!" He didn't even like dogs. He made it clear too that if Eliot kept staying as a wolf, he wanted nothing to do with him in that form.

Date: 2013-08-10 02:03 am (UTC)"We take care of him, but he needs you! Blood needs blood. I've learned that since losing my family. The pack might be family, but they aren't as strong as blood. Be glad the two of you were turned together. I'd give anything to have my parents!"
"Bastard, we're not mutts." Her voice did crack slightly.

Date: 2013-08-18 06:05 am (UTC)"Then take care of him all you want! I don't need an animal!"
Turning, he ran off into the forest, determined to get away. He had it enough of this group, he wanted to go back to Holland and he would beg on his knees until his pimp accepted him back. Even alone and cursed, he still knew how to do what he did. It was better than being here and useless and miserable.

Date: 2013-08-18 08:22 pm (UTC)Fuck Not what I wanted! She knew if she didn't go back home with him Eliot would worry. Running after him she kicked off her shoes in order to get better grip on the ground. "Lindsey wait!"
